West Ham SuperStar Identified As Coutinho Replacement
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has already set his sights on Argentine international attacking midfielder Manuel Lanzini as a perfect replacement for Barcelona-bound Philippe Coutinho, according to reports.
The 25-year-old Brazilian attacker is expected to become the Catalan giants’ marquee signing of 2018, as Barcelona and Liverpool seem to have already agreed to his transfer.
Klopp is to reinvest the money back into his squad, however instantly, and The Sun reports that West Ham United star Lanzini – valued at around the £40m mark – will be on top of his wishlist.
Lanzini, who has joined West Ham as little as £10m from Al Jazira, has played a direct part in five Premier League goals this campaign in 14 appearances and could be a perfect replacement for Philippe Coutinho.
Monaco winger Thomas Lemar and Schalke midfielder Leon Goretzka are other possible options for the Merseyside Reds in the winter transfer window. However, Lanzini who has already been established to the Premier League would be a better addition.
Liverpool currently sit fourth in the Premier League table with the battle for the title seems to be over following the Man City’s insane form and in order to secure top four finish Jurgen Klopp should splash money in January.
