MO'SALAH Wins PFA Player Of The Month Award Twice In A Row
Mohammed Salah (YNWA) |
The Liverpool forward won the PFA Player of the Month in November after notching six goals in four Premier league games.
And now he has doubled up on his success by landing the December award too, after hitting five goals and notching three assists last month.
The Egyptian attacker has been in irrepressible form since signing for the Reds from AS Roma in the summer, having already claimed 23 goals in all competitions this term.
Salah is the Premier League ‘s second-top goalscorer, with his tally of 17 one behind Harry Kane, though he has missed the past couple of matches—one league, one FA Cup —through injury.
For December, a panel selected the top-performing players from England’s top flight, with the public voting for the overall winner.
And it was again Salah who scooped the admiration of fans, claiming 50 per cent of the votes.
Team-mate Roberto Firmino was one of the other players in the running.
Salah also won the CAF African Player of the Year award last week as his Anfield career continues to be littered with incredible highs.
