Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud equalled former Manchester United forward Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's goals record for most substitute player

The 31-year-old striker came from the bench in the 72nd minute to Alexandre Lacazette and with just two minutes of the game remaining, he rose highest in the box to score with a flicked header from Alexis Sanchez’s cross to scored his 17th league goal from the substitute bench level with the Manchester United legend as he cancels the Saint star Charlie Austin opener just three minutes into the game.
Arsene Wenger's side secured a valuable point which saw Arsenal overtake North London rivals Tottenham into fifth place, while Giroud continued to live up to his ever-growing super-sub reputation.
France international Giroud pulled clear of Javier Hernandez, who scored 14 goals from the bench for Red Devil, while Jermain Defoe and Edin Dzeko managed 13 goals whilst at Spurs and Manchester City respectively.
Chelsea dominates the list, with Tore Andre Flo scoring 12 goals, narrowly ahead of Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou with 11.
Giroud has yet to start any Premier League matches so far this season, with the former Ligue 1 highest goals has netted in four goals from the bench and being restricted to Europa League appearances - where he scored three goals in the group stages.
