Former Super Eagles invitee Josh Maja netted on his league debut for Sunderland as they claimed a 1-0 win over Sheyi Ojo's Fulham at the Stadium of Light.
The 18-year-old striker netted the winner in the 77th minute, five minutes after entering into the fray, in what was his second appearance for the Black Cats' first-team in all competitions since joining the club from Manchester City in 2015.

Scunthorpe United were held to a 2-2 draw by Milton Keynes Dons at Glanford Park with two Nigerians opening and closing the scoring.
A goal from Hakeeb Adelakun gave Scunthorpe United the lead on 27 minutes, and MK Dons attacking midfielder Chuks Aneke made it 2-2 when he headed home a free-kick in the 66th minute.
