Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar has demanded
new wage increase of £1 million-per-week wage to remain with the Frech outfit for the next season, according to reports in the Time.
Despite failing to help the Le Parisians to advance to the quarter-final stage of the Champions League which has been the club's main target due to injury.
He suffered an ankle ligament damage and he was unable to play in the return leg of the Champions League second-round game against Real Madrid at the Parc des Prince as Real Madrid claimed an easy victory in both legs to reach the quarter-finals.
Real Madrid is ready to sign the Brazilian star next summer and bring him back to Spain after he left Barcelona last summer for a world record fee.
reports in Brazilian outlet UOL reported five factors that have caused Neymar to seek a quick exit from Ligue 1: increased fouling, a lack of protection from referees, the relatively poorer quality of play, sub-par playing surfaces and bus trips between games.
Neymar is currently nursing an ankle and toe injury but he is expected to be fit for the next summer's World Cup in Russia.
