Pep Guardiola Hit With 2Match Ban From UEFA

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has been issued with a two-match touchline ban from UEFA following his conduct during his team's
Champions League quarter-final clash against
Liverpool in April.
The Spaniard was sent to the stands during the second leg of their final eight contest at the Etihad Stadium, which ended in a 2-1 victory for the Reds .
Guardiola confronted the referee on the half-time whistle after he disallowed Leroy Sane 's goal just before the first 45 minutes came to a close.
UEFA has announced that the former Barcelona boss will serve a two-match ban, with one of the games being deferred for a year, which means that the City manager will not be in the dugout for his team's first group match in next season's tournament.
Meanwhile, the European governing body has fined Liverpool £17,567 for various incidents, including causing damage to City's team bus prior to the first leg at Anfield, setting off fireworks and lighting fireworks during the semi-final second leg against Roma.
