Chelsea dazzler Victor Moses has been named the official Player of the Year (Men) at the inaugural NFF Awards 2018.
The Blues number fifteen saw off competition from Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi and 2018 African Nations Championship star Anthony Okpotu to clinch the accolade.
Former Liverpool and Arsenal Ladies star Asisat Oshoala was selected Player of the Year (Women), while Ikoumen Udoh and Rasheedat Ajibade picked up the Young Player of the Year (Men) and Young Player of the Year (Women) awards respectively.
Plateau United gaffer Kennedy Boboye was recognized for guiding the Jos-based side to the Nigeria Professional Football League title least season having clinched the Coach of the Year (Men) prize.
Ex-Super Falcons netminder Ann Chiejine scooped the Coach of the Year (Women), and was also named to the Legends XI.
In the Legends XI, Austin Eguavoen, Christian Chukwu, Uche Okechukwu and Felix Owolabi were the defenders selected, Austin Okocha and Nwankwo Kanu were picked in midfield together with Segun Odegbami and Adokiye Amiesimaka.
Thompson Usiyen and Mercy Akide were included in attack.
The NFF Awards 2018 was held at Eko Hotel and Suites on Monday night and was based on the performances of the nominees in 2017.
