De Gea Demands £350k Salary To Stay At United Or Leave
David de Gea has demanded wages of £350,000 a week to stay on as Manchester United 's number one, according to a report.
The Spain international is said to be using strong interest from Real Madrid to his advantage, as he feels that he is worth the £18m a year salary.
De Gea, whose reputation continues to grow
following a star showing against Sevilla in midweek, is currently on around half that figure.
United could bow to the 27-year-old's demands as they fear Madrid have the ability to tempt him with a superior offer in the summer, with The Sun reporting that the Red Devils are desperate to keep their first-choice keeper happy.
January signing Alexis Sanchez is currently the highest earner at Old Trafford on £505,000 a week, while Paul Pogba is on a similarly lucrative contract.
