Exclusive Insight On Why Lionel Messi Left Barcelona

 Messi leaving Barcelona wasn't because he doesn't love the club but it was mainly down to Political power tussle coming from the LaLiga President and the Presidents of Barcelona & Real Madrid.

Earlier we were told Lionel Messi agreed to sign a 5yrs deal with Barcelona with 50% pay cut, but that deal wasn't actually a pay cut deal but the deal was meant to run this way;

Messi will play 2yrs at Barca while collecting 50% pay cut then the remaining 3yr he will leave Barca to MLS or any Club and barca will still pay him for those 3yrs (Technically this was just the plan), Messi accepted it so as to help Barcelona avoid the penalty of the Spanish Financial Fair Play rule (FFP).

But the LaLiga President Tavarez had other ideas for Barcelona because of what they did with the actions of starting the ESL and refusing a new company that came to bail out Spanish league called CVC.

You know in LaLiga TV deals are negotiated individually unlike in EPL were the TV deals for all clubs are negotiated collectively.

So when Barcelona & Real Madrid wanted to start that ESL their actions really threatened the LaLiga because have the two biggest clubs in Spain going to establish a new lucrative deal will mean little money will be in Laliga because those TV right deals will be reduced, since in Laliga it's a based on Individual thing, most TV stations will like to negotiate more TV rights for the two Spanish teams in ESL than LaLiga.

Now you see why Real Madrid & Barcelona will always remain the big fishes in LaLiga 🤔

Assuming they do this deals like its done in EPL at least most of the clubs will have a chance to compete because they will have a ratio of sharing the money, but this one is everyman for him self.

 So since that ESL saga the Laliga president hasn't forgiven Barcelona & Real madrid because their actions was really a threat to LaLiga finances and still they aren't ready to drop the ESL.

So LaLiga President Tavarez has being looking for a way to get back at Real Madrid and Barcelona and the only way is with the use of *FFP* (Don't spend more than your incoming cash).

Every other football body are relaxed about this FFP even UEFA, FIFA , EPL name them but the man at LaLiga was strict with his (I don't blame him shaa since Barcelona and Real Madrid wants to prove stubborn).

So just recently ooo the LaLiga president had a deal with *CVC capital ventures*, they haven't signed the deal yet just subject to approval by the 42 clubs that made up LaLiga first & 2nd divisions.

The deal has it that this company will give Laliga $3bn+ while in return they will own 10.95% of the total income made by all the LaLiga clubs for the next 50years.

The deal seem fair for majority of the other clubs since they will get bail out from it and they won't lose much giving out their 10.95% but when Barcelona & Real Madrid's presidents saw this protested to block the deal because they felt that in the next years to come this deal might threaten their financial powers.

This made the LaLiga President become more strict on the FFP rules and wasn't ready to relax it for anyone.

Barcelona seeing this and knowing that signing Messi will still require them to sell a lot of other players to as well register the new free players they got accompanied with the fact that offers to sell aren't coming for there players the Barcelona President had to call the shots.

Reports from Spain said Messi's agent (His father) was surprised to hear that the player won't be signed that they all thought they had the deal under control and it came as a surprise.

It really made no sense to hold unto Messi when the Spanish FFP won't be relaxed, so the president had to let him go and according to him Messi feel sad & heart broken leaving Barcelona.
