FIAT Workers Set To Go On Strike After Ronaldo £500K Salaries Revealed

Workers at a Fiat Chrysler plant in Italy are planning to go on strike following Juventus' £99.2m signing of Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid.
Both Fiat and Juve are owned by the Agnelli family through their holding company, and the USB union argue that the signing will be at the detriment to possible investment in the carmaker.
Ronaldo joined the Italian champions in a big-money deal earlier this week, penning a four-year contract worth a reported £500,000 per week.
The union have claimed that the firm need to guarantee the future of thousands of people "rather than enriching only one", also claiming that Fiat's workers were making "huge economic sacrifices" while millions were being spent on one player.
The proposed strike will take place at the Melfi plant in southern Italy at 10pm local time on Sunday, lasting until 6pm the following Tuesday.
Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes has claimed that Juventus will be Ronaldo's final club before retiring.
